Declan’s career in IT is filled with notable achievements that make him a perfect fit for this role. Born and raised in Dublin, he started in banking and insurance before shifting to IT. His time at Fujitsu, where he served as Chief Architect, gave him comprehensive knowledge of both private and public sectors, which will prove to be a strong asset for Ergo. “I’m proud to be part of such a respected brand like Ergo. In his new role, Declan plans to make an immediate impact by focusing on larger bids and tenders. “My goal is to become a trusted partner for the clients I work with,” he added, underscoring his focus on building strong, long-term relationships and enhancing Ergo’s reputation.
Declan also spoke about the changing dynamics of IT recruitment, particularly the rise of AI and machine learning.
