Ergo welcomes Declan Parker as Client Account Director, IT Resourcing

Ergo is excited to announce the appointment of Declan Parker as the new Client Account Director for its IT Resourcing division. With over 26 years in the IT industry, Declan brings valuable experience and a fresh perspective to help drive growth and enhance Ergo's position in the competitive IT recruitment space.

Declan’s career in IT is filled with notable achievements that make him a perfect fit for this role. Born and raised in Dublin, he started in banking and insurance before shifting to IT. His time at Fujitsu, where he served as Chief Architect, gave him comprehensive knowledge of both private and public sectors, which will prove to be a strong asset for Ergo. “I’m proud to be part of such a respected brand like Ergo. As a leading Irish IT organisation, it’s a huge advantage,” Declan shared during his introduction. In his new role, Declan plans to make an immediate impact by focusing on larger bids and tenders. “My goal is to become a trusted partner for the clients I work with,” he added, underscoring his focus on building strong, long-term relationships and enhancing Ergo’s reputation.

Declan also spoke about the changing dynamics of IT recruitment, particularly the rise of AI and machine learning. While acknowledging their benefits in streamlining processes, he stressed the need for human insight. “You can’t replace the value of experience and the human touch,” he said, highlighting the balance needed between technology and personal expertise.

Founded over a decade ago, Ergo’s IT Resourcing business has reshaped tech recruitment by making the process more efficient, cost-effective, and stress-free. As part of Ergo Group, Ireland’s leading IT services provider for 31 years, Ergo IT Resourcing is known for its dedicated, highly skilled team that specialises in IT recruitment.

Ergo’s Managing Director of IT Resourcing, Derek Kehoe, shared his excitement about Declan’s appointment: “The IT recruitment market is evolving quickly, and with Declan’s experience and innovative mindset, we’re well-positioned to meet these challenges and continue delivering outstanding value to our clients.” He emphasized the strategic role Declan will play in leading Ergo IT Resourcing towards new opportunities for growth and success.
